Performance Milestones

The D.R. Stewart was recognized in EAU’s October newsletter as Rig of the Month for October 2009.
The EAU “Rig of the Quarter” and “Rig of the Month” is selected based on performance across a variety of areas, including QHSE, downtime, maintenance issues, customer feedback, training and development, and finance. .
Transocean’s semisubmersible Deepwater Nautilus on November 12 was named “Rig of the Year” for 2009 in the Semisubmersible/Drillship category by customer Shell.
The GSF Baltic on December 4 received a Fast Drill Process Record certificate from customer ExxonMobil for achieving 3,225 feet (983 meters) per day in the Usari 42C on the well’s 12 ¼ -inch hole section.
The Transocean Leader was recognized in EAU’s September newsletter as the Europe and Africa Unit’s (EAU) Rig of the Quarter for Third Quarter 2009, for being the best performer for July, August and September. The rig has performed with high standards of safety and operational excellence. The Transocean Leader was also named EAU’s Rig of the Month for May and April, respectively.
