Employees from Transocean’s Aberdeen office continue to make a difference by gathering funds for Cancer Research UK through their 5K Aberdeen Race for Life team. The “Head-over- Heels” team participated in its second year with the charity and raised £4,460 or USD $6,726 in donations, surpassing last year’s total of $5,400.

Leanne Stewart, Global Training Administration Supervisor, Aberdeen, who served as team captain, wanted to, “thank everyone who donated, sponsored and participated in our bake sale in aid of Race for Life Cancer Research UK. Your donations and kind words really did mean a lot to the team and June 30 we successfully completed the 5K Aberdeen Race for Life run and even had the sun appear for the occasion.”
