Gearing Up for the MS 150!
Transocean employees in Houston are busy gearing up for the 2010 MS150, a two-day bike ride from Houston to Austin in April.
The MS150 isn’t a race, but it does raise money in support of the race to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis, a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. In 2010, Transocean will sponsor a team of about 30 riders, raising thousands of dollars for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
More information about this year’s MS150 event, along with photos, will be published in an upcoming edition of Beacon. You’ll recognize the team by this year’s unique jersey, designed for the second year in a row by C.J. Schaaf, son of Park 10 employee Donna Schaaf. Congratulations to C.J. for winning the bike jersey design contest that was open to Houston employees this fall. C.J. received a $250 gift card and, of course, a 2010 team jersey for his effort.
