Division Finance Manager – Far East and Australia
As an 11-year Transocean veteran, Bryan contributes thorough financial analyses that help and lead the local management team in making practical business decisions. He is a key player in supporting the Marketing Department, which handles a significant flow of proposals and offers. He has administered various financial analyses with the same focused financial measure of practicality and precision. A very dedicated and accountable worker, Bryan is always willing to lend a hand.
“Many who have worked with Bryan consider his technical leadership with the different financial systems to be on the expert level. He is a natural go-to person when I need advice on systems, procedures, or policies,” said Hubert Lafeuille, Division Controller. “I have witnessed Bryan spend a lot of time coaching two of his team members as they were stepping in their new role. He was eager to mentor them; very often, he would call them in his office and pull up a chair to spend one-to-one training time, giving them the best chance to succeed in their jobs.”
Bryan has embraced the concept of mobility and has worked in a number of countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and America. He enjoys the global aspect and global support of the company. “Being able to travel and live in so many countries lets me open my eyes to so many cultures and meet people from different nationalities. This experience cannot be bought with money.”
In the years to come, Bryan sees himself continuing to learn and grow within Transocean as he broadens his opportunities. He wants to be able to develop and lead young talent in the company so they are able to achieve greater heights and excellence.
