More than 200 employees and their families hit the streets of downtown Houston on October 1 to participate in the 2011 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Transocean raised almost $40,000 through race sponsorships, Pink Pancake Party, bake sales, raffles and a corporate donation.
The entire Transocean team worked hard to support this year’s Race for the Cure and Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the world’s largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. But three people really went above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, and were awarded gifts for their efforts at the Pink Pancake Party. Congratulations to: Lora Springer, Human Resources; Melissa Scarborough, Audit; and Amanda Scott, Human Resources.
