The annual Gulf of Mexico Fishing and Golf tournament in April raised $14,000 and the North America Division added $6,000 for a total of $20,000 donated to the new West Campus location of Texas Children’s Hospital.
“This year, our donation will help a very special team at Texas Children’s Hospital. They specialize in distraction methods to help the children calm down during procedures and cope with pain easier. While it is heartbreaking to imagine children in pain and having to endure procedures, it is somewhat satisfying to know that at least something is being done,” said Andrea Roberts, Rig Administrator, North America Division, who added a special thanks to Marty Fitzpatrick, Radio Operator, for her assistance at the fundraiser table during the tournament.
